"Roopendra Roopak is a doctoral scholar of Marketing area at the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. His thesis looks into the dynamics of human needs and online customer engagement in community-based platforms. Alongside marketing management, he has conducted studies in other domains of management. Before joining the Ph.D. program, he worked as a Marketing Associate, where he had the opportunity to work with leading IT MNCs such as Adobe, Cisco, and Oracle. He has presented studies at prestigious international and national conferences such as ISMS Marketing Science Conference and POMS International. His current research interest revolves around experience-engagement links and pricing strategies in the platform economy. His teaching interest lies in Customer relationship management and Marketing analytics."--
