Dr. Ashish Kumar Kaushal is a Post-Doctoral Fellow from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in the area of Production and Quantitative Methods. He holds a doctorate (Ph.D.) from Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. In his doctoral research, he has worked in the area of Mathematical Modelling of Operational Issues in Humanitarian Supply Chains. He has also worked for various disaster relief activities during Uttarakhand Flash Floods, 2013, Chennai Floods, 2015 and Cyclone Fani, 2019, in Orissa. His research has been published/under review in various journals of international repute including International Journal of Production Research, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation, Annals of Operations Research, and so forth. He has also presented his research works in various international conferences held in US, UK and Hong Kong. He has also delivered Management Development Programs (MDPs) to various MNCs (HeroMoto Corp, Maruti Suzuki Limited).
He has been conferred with various awards from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) and Department of Science and Technology (DST). He has also received various grants from National and International organizations like Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and Decision Sciences Institute (DSI).
