- Atanu Bhuyan is a Lecturer in the area of Operations & Supply Chain Management. His doctoral dissertation focuses on policy, service development, and sustainable mobility issues surrounding intermediate public transportation, with direct implications for meeting the Sustainable Development Goal 11.2 target. His current research interest includes Service Operations Management, Shared Economy, and Urban Transportation. His research papers have appeared in reputed peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Scientometrics. He has also presented his research works at various national and international conferences – POMS, DSI, INFORMS-TSL, IEEE, EURO, and SOM. Before joining the doctoral program, he worked as a design engineer at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (Bangalore, India), a junior research fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar/ Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (Mumbai, India), and an engineering consultant under the Public Authority of Educations and Training (Kuwait City, Kuwait).
