Aparajita Gupta is a research scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) from Lakshmi Bai College, University of Delhi. She has completed her Masters of Finance & Control (MFC) from the Department of Economic Administration and Financial Management, University of Rajasthan. She qualified for UGC – NET in Commerce in 2017. She is an awardee of the Junior Research Fellowship. With a specialization in Finance, her research focuses on the evaluation of public-private partnerships(PPP) as a mode of financing Infrastructure. Specifically, the research delves into the factors determining private investment in PPP infrastructure projects, shedding light on their viability and effectiveness. Her research findings have earned recognition, with acceptance for publication in the Journal of Public Affairs (ABDC-B, Scopus Indexed) and Global Business and Economic Review Journal (ABDC-C, Scopus Indexed). She has presented her work at various national and international conferences.
In addition to research, she has gained experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an NPTEL Online Certification Course on Working Capital Management. She has served as a faculty member at the Department of Commerce & Management, Indira Gandhi University Meerpur, Haryana. As an educator, she is interested in subjects such as Financial Management, Investment Analysis & Derivatives and Managerial Economics.
