  • Dr. Pulkit Khanna is an  Associate Professor and Executive Dean at Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences (JIBS), O. P. Jindal Global University. She is responsible for academic planning and management at JIBS. Her professional experience is an optimal mix of teaching, training, and industry. She completed her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Delhi). She was also certified in Positive Psychology (Research, Education and Application in Community Health) at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS, Bangalore). Pulkit is among the founding members of the National Positive Psychology Association and also serves on the Executive Committee of this body. Her research looks at strengthening student wellbeing, and exploring indigenous practices that promote positive psychological constructs.

  • Dr. Khanna’s research centres on psychological interventions to nurture human flourishing, emphasising educational contexts. She has been invited to present her work at prestigious forums, including the International Positive Psychology Association and the Templeton Foundation-funded ‘Science for Monks’ among others. She has published in well-recognized international peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. Her supervision work comprises doctoral and graduate thesis on topics including post-traumatic growth, psycho-spiritual interventions for students, and traditional education systems.

  • Before joining JGU, Dr. Khanna taught and co-taught courses on Introduction to Psychology and Positive Psychology, Social Psychology, Human Resource Management, and Applied Positive Psychology for undergraduate and graduate students. She currently offers a popular experiential elective course on Emotional Literacy to students across the university
