Divya Tyagi holds a B.Tech. degree in Information Technology from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, NOIDA. Post her graduation, she has worked as a software developer in the Finacle Business Unit of Infosys. Following her stint in the IT industry, she began her doctoral journey in the year 2017. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Management Indore in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management area. Her dissertation focuses on the embodied aspects of dirty work and explores the role of workers’ identity characteristics in their work and non-work lives. Beyond dirty work, her research interests include dignity work, discrimination at work, neoliberal business schools & academic lives, leadership transition, and AI and human resource management. Recently, one of her research articles focusing on AI and HRM interface has been published in an international peer-reviewed journal, the International Journal of Human Resource Management. She has presented her work in notable international and national conferences, including Academy of Management, European Group for Organizational Studies, Dutch HRM Network, Indian Academy of Management, and PAN-IIM World Management Conference. One of her research articles has received the best paper award during the IIMI-GIZ Conference 2022.
