- Tirtha Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, O.P.Jindal Global University. Prior to this, she was working as an Assistant Professor at Centre for Development Studies (CDS) in Kerala. Before joining CDS, she was working with Indian Council for Research in International Economic Relations (ICRIER), New Delhi. She received her Ph.D. (Development Studies) from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development and Research(IGIDR), Mumbai in 2018. She has completed her M.Phil. in Development Studies from IGIDR, Mumbai, Master’s in economics from University of Calcutta and B.Sc. in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta. Her research interests are in the areas of agriculture economics and empirical issues in development economics. Her current areas of work involve agriculture markets and issues related to labour and gender.
