I am an assistant professor of practice at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy at O.P. Jindal Global University. I believe in teaching and learning is a two-way processes. When I stand in the class to take a session, I am there to teach and at the same time, learn from the students.
I worked in the non-profit sector in India in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. There, I worked closely with district and state-level government officials. I worked mainly in the areas of community health and malnutrition. I learned important lessons on the governance of community health systems which inspired me to study public policy and administration.
I received a full fellowship to study at the Central European University where I worked as Junior Researcher. Likewise, I also worked as a student consultant with BRAC University, Bangladesh.
From my experience at CEU, I learned much about the importance of diversity, and professionalism and about the open society for which CEU stands for. CEU and DPP (then SPP) have supported and inspired me as a student and as a professional.
The values that I inculcated during my studies at CEU reflect in my teaching and my work in academic administration and student affairs.
