- Dr. Sweta Sen is a comparativist whose research interests focus on civil wars, social and political networks created by rebel groups, and non-state legitimacy. Her present work revolves around understanding humanitarian negotiations during situations of conflicts for which she received the Senesh Fellowship from the International Peace Research Association. Prior to beginning her career in academia, she worked as a caseworker in an anti-trafficking project administered by the European Union where she was involved in the rehabilitation and reintegration of sex-trafficking survivors into mainstream society.
