• Dr Avanindra Nath Thakur is an Associate Professor at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, O P Jindal Global University. Prior to Joining Jindal, he has taught Economics at Delhi University College and was also a visiting faculty at Ambedkar University, New Delhi. He has completed his PhD from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, JNU, New Delhi. His research areas are Development economics, Public Policy, Labour and Agricultural Policies, Applied Economics. He has presented research papers in several National and Internal Conferences. He has also published many research papers in several academic journals including, Journal of Rural Development, Journal of Social and Economic Studies etc. Besides, he has also contributed to many chapters in books published from reputable publishers including Oxford University Press. Along with research articles he has been contributing to many magazines, Newspaper, etc. on various policy related issues. He has been invited to many special lectures, special and exclusive interviews on various topics relevant to policy discourses particularly focused around government policies.
