Sabeela Siddiqui is an assistant lecturer at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy. She did post-graduation in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University. She shifted into public policy discipline after pursuing graduation, majoring in Mathematics and Physics. To put her learning in praxis, she joined Chief Minister’s Rural Development Fellowship with the Government of Maharashtra and holistically developed Kosambi Gram Panchayat of Chandrapur district, Maharashtra and had recommended various policy suggestions before the state government. Furthermore, she has also worked as Research Fellow at Haqdarshak Empowerment Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and worked on the welfare schemes of Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In addition, she worked with RightWalk Foundation as its Policy, Strategy and Growth Manager and has collaborated with UNICEF on a project. She has recently worked as Assistant Program Manager in the Office of Academic Affairs at Ashoka University and handled various academic affairs of the varsity. Simultaneously, she has represented India in Shanghai International Summer School of Fudan University (China), Global Minority Summer School of National University of Public Service (Hungary), BRICS International School of National Committee on BRICS Research (Russia) and International Summer School on Pluralism, Development and Social Change of University of Humanistic Studies (The Netherlands). Recently, she was awarded Indonesia Arts and Culture Scholarship by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indonesia.
