Prof. Nikolaos is a Assistant professor at JGLS. He has obtained his LL.B from the University of Athens (Valedictorian), as well as an LL.M in Private International Law and International Business Transactions from the same university (Valedictorian), having written a thesis concerning the impact of cross-border corporate insolvency on international arbitration. After that he pursued the LL.M of University of Cambridge (Wolfson College scholar; Union of Greek Shipowners scholar), specializing in Commercial Law. He has published articles pertaining to Private International Law, International Business Transactions and International Trade Law.
As regards his work experience, Nikolaos is a qualified lawyer in Greece. He has worked at the Directorate for Legislative Work of the Parliament of Greece, and at the Legal Council of the Greek State, focusing on the International Investment Agreements between Greece and other states, as well as issues pertaining to capital markets, bonds, securitizations and privatisations. On top of that, he was an associate in a boutique law firm in Athens, specializing in International Arbitration and International Business Transactions. Presently, alongside JGLS, Nikolaos is a guest lecturer at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, offering courses on Cross-Border Insolvency.
