Prof. Aishwarya Chaturvedi is Assistant Professor, Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University). She holds an LL.M. from Cornell Law School, United States of America, LLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and BA (Hons) Philosophy from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She has previously practiced law at the Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi, and has also worked as a research assistant at Cornell Law School. She is the author of the book “The Unheard Predicament: Social and Legal Perspective on Women and Child Rights In India”. This book is an effort in her endeavor to spread awareness of social, economic and political issues related to women and children in India.
Prof. Chaturvedi is also a Project Leader in India at the Global Peace Women International. She has developed and implemented pilot project titled “NIRMAN: Initiative for Life Skills and Education for Underprivileged Children in Uttar Pradesh, India” on improving educational outcomes for underprivileged children in India with Global Peace Women.
