  • Dr. Tithi Bhatnagar is currently working as an Associate Professor with the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS). She has been associated in an administrative capacity with the Professional and Teacher Training Programs conducted at the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, O.P. Jindal Global University, the Centre for Leadership and Change, the University Student Disciplinary Committee, and the JIBS Ph.D. Committee in the past.
    She is a Psychologist by training, a Well-being and Happiness researcher and teacher by profession, and a Positive Psychology Coach by practice. Her doctoral research was in the area of Subjective Well-Being (SWB) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Her professional experience is a mix of industry, freelance consulting, academics, training, and advisory roles. In her tenure with Infosys, she has worked on projects involving title holders, executive board members, and founders. Prior to joining JGU, she was leading the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at G.D. Goenka University. She has served on an Industry Research Board as a Social Scientist for Stem Cell Research and has been invited as a Subject Matter Expert on the University Academic Council on Curriculum Design for UG and PG Psychology Programs.

    A Gold and Silver Medallist for her Master’s and Bachelor’s respectively, she is a Certified Positive Psychology Coach with none other than Dr. Robert Biswas-Diener (USA). She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and the International Society of Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS).

  • She has presented research papers at several national and international conferences of repute. She is the author of one book and the corresponding editor of another. She has been awarded with various scholarships. Her dissertation had been shortlisted for the best dissertation award at the International and National levels. She was highlighted as the “Member of the Month” by the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies” in 2021. She is regularly invited as a resource person for various Faculty Development Programs, especially on topics around Well-Being and Research Methods. Her research interests include Subjective Well-Being, Positive Psychology, Quality of Life, Happiness, Wisdom, Psychometrics, Coaching Psychology, and Leadership. She supervises doctoral dissertations.

  • At JIBS, Dr. Bhatnagar has been associated with the training initiatives including management development programs, teacher training programs, and the Management Consulting Fundamentals course offered to students and JGU employees. She has trained around 10000 teachers, students, Govt. Officials, and executives on topics like Understanding Stress, Stress Management, Performance Enhancement, Subjective Well-Being, Multiple Intelligence, Work-Life Balance, Effective Decision-making, Training Evaluation, Developing Empathy, Happiness at the Workplace, Use of Humour for Business Success, Positive Education, Positive Psychology Interventions, The Science and Arts of Coaching, and Motivation at Workplace.
