• Swati Narayan is an Associate Professor at the School for Public Health and Human Development at O.P. Jindal Global University. Her research analyses human development and social policies from an interdisciplinary perspective, especially in India and South Asia.
  
  

  She has been a visiting faculty member at the National Law School of India University and a visiting fellow at the Institute for Human Development. She has completed her doctorate from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and her post-doctorate from the National Institute of Advanced Studies.
  
  

  She has Master’s degrees from the School of Oriental and African Studies and TISS. She is also an alumna of the London School of Economics and Political Science. For over a decade, she has also been an activist with various civil society organisations and worked with international non-government organisations, including Oxfam GB.
