• Sunetra Ghatak holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She has earlier held various research positions, including at National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), Micro Insurance Academy (MIA), National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NCAP), Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID).

  She has contributed several research papers in various prominent peer-reviewed national, international journals and edited volumes. She has participated in both international and national conferences to present her works and been invited as a resource person by various institutions to deliver lectures. She has also reviewed articles for journals.
  
  

  Her research interest lies in the areas of international trade, migration and labour market dynamics.
