Nimisha is a Lecturer and Assistant Dean at the Office of Academic Affairs at Jindal Global Law School. She has specialized in comparative and international dispute resolution from School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary University of London. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelors in Law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and also holds a PG Diploma in International Trade & Business Laws from the esteemed Indian Society of International Law. Currently, she is a member of the Young Practitioners’ Group Asian International Arbitration Centre and the International Council for Commercial Arbitration.
She has experience working with organizations such as the Ministry of External Affairs (Government of India), and Sai Krishna & Associates, in matters pertaining with various fields of law and governmental rules such as Passport Manual, IP law, arbitration law. She has also received training in litigation at various courts of the country like the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, District Courts of Delhi and the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.
Her areas of interest and research include commercial and construction arbitration, human rights, international trade and investment law and cyber laws. During her post-graduation, she undertook research on the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s project on the changing landscape of International Investment Agreements.
Other than her professional pursuits, she is a health enthusiast who promotes Ayurveda as a way of living and is actively involved in its propagation.
