• With over one and a half decade of experience in academic and research libraries, Mr. Anas bring a deep commitment to supporting scholarship, digital access, and research excellence. Currently, serving at the JGU Global Library, where he actively contribute to advancing digital library services, research support systems, and academic resource management aligned with global best practices.

  His previous roles include working at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), NCERT Library, and the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, where he engaged in diverse aspects of research assistance, digital resource curation, and library automation. As a Project Fellow at NCERT, he contributed to the development of a Textbook Archive, reflecting my interest in digital preservation and open educational resources.

  Academically, he hold an MLIS from the University of Delhi, a BLIS from Jamia Millia Islamia, and a B.A. Programme from Zakir Husain P.G. Evening College, University of Delhi. He has also completed Diplomas in Translation Proficiency in English and Uzbek Language, and UGC-NET qualified in Library and Information Science.

  His professional development includes participation in several conferences, seminars, and specialized training programs with a strong focus on digital libraries, metadata standards, research data management, and scholarly communication. He has also pursued a Diploma in Computer Applications (DOEACC) and completed ICT training with CSIR-NISCAIR, enhancing his ability to work with library technologies, institutional repositories, and digital archiving platforms.

  He is passionate about helping academic communities navigate the evolving landscape of scholarly publishing, research visibility, and open access. and strive to integrate traditional library values with cutting-edge digital tools to build future-ready academic library services.
